Our Steeple is being lit this week of May 13th in honor of all the mothers in our Church Family.

Our thanks goes to Bill Bandy and Paul and Peg for coffee hour this week.

The flowers this week are in loving memory of our mothers: Margaret (McKinlay) Ferris and Lucy (Keene) Clemons from Peg and Paul Clemons.

The Peacham Fellowship is having a Memorial Day Barbeque, at 11:45 May 28th. Please come and join us! Take-outs and Reservations are available by calling Charlotte Snow 592-3085 or Cher Smith 592-3185. Contributions are needed for a successful Memorial Day Barbecue. There is a sign up sheet going around. Items required are hard boiled eggs, rolls, potatoes, onions, celery, coleslaw, Coke, Sprite, and bottled water. Your help is vital!

Our Church again this year will host the Annual Memorial Day Service at 1pm on May 28th. Julie Hansen is coordination the service, March to the Green and the Cemetery Salute. Bob will be giving leadership to this event. All are invited.

Good news for us all! We have received gifts of almost $5,000 on our challenge fund goal of $7000. Remember we adopted a $14,000 deficient budget. A generous gift of $7,000 asking us to match it will give us a balanced budget. We have a little over $2000 to go. Your welcomed  gift will help us bridge the gap. Thanks in advanced.

Opportunities abound for helping with coffee hour next week and beyond. Signed up sheet is downstairs.

Also, we would like to remind you that you can sign up to bring in flowers for Sunday morning services.

The mission this month is the National Association of Christian Congregational Churches Missionary Society. Examples of the national missions of the Society include the Maine Seacoast Missionary Society and the Seafarer’s Society based in Chelsea, Massachusetts. An example of an international mission is the Congregational Church of Myanmar.

Beginning May 15 the Peacham Senior Meals will resume on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Peacham Church Social Hall starting at 12 noon. Please join us. Call Charlotte Snow at 592-3085.

We regularly collect for the Danville Food Shelf. They especially need canned baked beans, Jell-O, large juices, puddings, canned fruit, applesauce, tea, and toilet paper.

We have been collecting E-Mail addresses as another means for us to stay in touch with you. We have found that people who travel often or leave seasonally still would like to know what we are doing. You may give your E-Mail address to Jonathan Potter or write on the back of a hymnal marker and place it in the Offering Plate.

You can be in touch with Bob Potter at 802-626-8075. His home address is 1514 Vertical Mile Road, Wheelock, VT 05851. Thanks.
